We would like to take this opportunity to simply say, Thank You and Merry Christmas.
This time of year is always full of family gatherings, Christmas parties, wrapping presents, and various and assorted Christmas treats. From chocolate covered peanut butter balls to stockings hung by the chimney with care, this may be our favorite time of year!
Even though we know it's always December 25th, it sure seems like Christmas can easily sneak up on us every year. Whatever keeps you so busy and distracted during this season, please don't forget the real reason for this season. Jesus Christ came to earth, born into this world by a miracle. He came as a sacrifice for us, and on Christmas Day, we celebrate His birth.
"And while they were there, the time came for her to give birth. And she gave birth to her firstborn son and wrapped him in swaddling cloths and laid him in a manger, because there was no place for them in the inn." Luke 2:6-7 ESV
He is the one we celebrate with all the rushing around and making sure everything is exactly perfect when everyone gets together. While you're running and jumping from this gathering to that party, don't overlook His contribution to this time of year.
