Interesting Optics Deals Now at Optics Planet

If you've been thinking of getting into the thermal night vision game, now could be the perfect time. Optics Planet has several great deals on a few different brands and levels of thermal scopes.

Just earlier this year we had the opportunity to test a couple different night vision scopes and now I came across them on sale better than I've ever seen.

I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw the Sightmark Wraith Mini Thermal 2-16x35mm $300 less than just several months ago.

The price is currently sitting right at $1,699.97.

We've had the Wraith Mini Thermal out hunting a few times but don't have any harvest shots on video yet. But, we do have some pretty cool pictures to show you, hopefully so you can get a little taste of the fun a thermal scope offers.

Here's a deer, in front of a feeder. Don't miss the black spot over to the right side that's actually a little mouse.
A different color palette picture of two deer behind some brush.

But if we're going to talk thermal scopes, we can't forget about AGM Global Vision and Optics Planet also has several of those on sale.

I had the opportunity to also use and AGM earlier this year and I'm almost certain that exact model (the TS35-384 2-16x35mm) is discounted to $1,699.99 right now.

Now for a few pictures from that AGM thermal scope. We haven't done as much hunting with this one so the best pictures I have are actually of our cat and one unknown animal that was either a fox or coyote.

Our cat laying on the couch and even heating up the cushion in her immediate proximity.
The black spot in the middle is either a fox or a coyote. It was moving too fast behind all that brush for a definite identification.

Both of those scopes offer several different color palettes for you to choose from and decide which one you like the best. I was impressed with how lightweight each of them are and the quality of what is now considered "entry level" thermal optics.

We were easily identifying deer sized animals at 150-200 yards and actually were able to identify a few deer around 300-350 yards. Those deer were more difficult to get a positive identity but after watching their movement patterns, we were able to discern that they indeed were deer.

And of course, you know we love a good deal on a red dot and I don't think I've seen the Vortex Viper at this low of a price.

In fact, I did a couple other searches just to make sure and couldn't find anyone else with a price even near this low right now. It's considered a "Blazin Deal" from Optics Planet and who knows how long that deal will last, but I bet it won't be long!

The Vortex Viper 1x24 mm 6 MOA Red Dot Sight in a Black color is on sale right now for $108.86! I've never seen this one at this low of a price. They are really making it difficult not to want a new quality red dot.

Just to clarify though, I've never actually used the Vortex Viper like I have the thermal scopes above, but I do have the Vortex Venom and absolutely love it. In fact, we did a full review on it a while back.
